We prefer and recommend the following three different coaxial cables to you, namely RG223, CG240, and RG8. They are all flexible coaxial cables. The applicable standard is MIL-C-17, and the cable impedance is 50 ohms. However, they differ in materials of construction, outer diameter, electrical specifications, mechanical and environmental specifications, and attenuation values. You can choose according to your actual usage needs.
RG223 features a silver-plated copper inner conductor, polyethylene dielectric, double silver-plated copper braided outer conductor, and black PVC jacket. It has a cable impedance of 50 ohms, a capacitance of 101.05 pF/m, a speed of 66%, and a maximum operating frequency of 12 GHz. The weight is 60 g/m, the bending radius is only 25 mm, and the temperature range is -25~+70°C.
CG240 has a bare copper inner conductor, foam PE dielectric, aluminum foil + tinned copper wire braided outer conductor, and black PE sheath. It has a cable impedance of 50 ohms, a capacitance of 79.4 pF/m, a speed of 84%, and a maximum operating frequency of 18 GHz. The weight is 62 g/m, the bending radius is 30 mm, and the temperature range is -40~+80°C.
RG8 has a copper-clad aluminum inner conductor, foam PE dielectric, self-adhesive aluminum foil + tinned copper wire outer conductor, and black PE sheath. It has a cable impedance of 50 ohms, a capacitance of 78 pF/m, a speed of 85%, and a maximum operating frequency of 21 GHz. The weight is 80 g/m, the bending radius is 51 mm, and the temperature range is -40~+80°C.
